The BrandsFormation system works. Dozens of local businesses have tried Mefford’s system and found that it improved brand awareness in the community - positively impacting sales. Companies who have used BrandsFormation include Joplin Family Dental, Phillip Camerer Roofing, and Mid America Hearing and Dental among others.

Last year Zimmer Marketing had around 40-45 attendees at BrandKamp. Attendees came away with new tools to boost their business. The BrandsFormation system gives you a framework for taking control of your business and brand in all aspects. Your business can benefit in the same way.

This year at BrandKamp, Mefford will address the topic of integrated marketing between radio and digital platforms. These days there are many channels to choose from when putting out your brand’s messaging. When crafting a brand campaign plan, it is essential to consider how your messaging will stay consistent across platforms. Your potential customers need to encounter your message in multiple places in order to solidify awareness of your brand in their mind. Mefford will explain how to accomplish this with a proven system.

What is BrandsFormation?

Mefford’s BrandsFormation is a four step band building system, which will help you take your company from a good local business to a great local brand. The steps are:

1. Strategy

During this step of BrandsFormation you will take stock of your business. You’ll need to identify competitors and figure out what truly makes your business unique, the differentiating idea. This is the foundation for each following step, so it’s important to be thorough and get it right.

2. Strategy

In this step, you will begin crafting your story. You want a message true to your company that will resonate with your audience. To understand this phase, think about bricks and mortar. The bricks are the individual ads in your campaign telling a specific story. The mortar are the thematic elements and things that don’t change across platforms or ads.

3. Strategy-Based Messaging

The consistency step is just what it sounds like. The goal is to expose potential customers to concise, well-crafted messages regularly. These messages shouldn’t be “buy now” moments. This is all about building brand awareness which will pay off big in the long run.

4. Dominant Frequency

Your brand’s messages need to be spread to your target audience with frequency. For a timeframe you should be thinking six months to a year. BrandsFormation is all about commitment. Commitment creates long term results and are essential to creating a strong brand which will command mental real estate for years to come.
