Zimmer Marketing. recently won several notable awards presented by the Kansas Association for Broadcasters. These awards highlight the accomplishments of this station, as well as its ongoing commitment to excellence.

Zimmer Radio, Inc. was the recipient of several awards reflecting its excellence in radio broadcasting and community service during the Missouri Broadcasters Association’s 2019 Awards Banquet.

Zimmer Cares has one central purpose: Helping nonprofits committed to serving the local community. Each quarter, the program gives $50,000 of free radio advertising to a nonprofit organization that make a positive difference in the area.

Every year, the radio industry's premiere magazine – Radio Ink – ranks America's top 30 program directors in the Country format. This year, Zimmer Radio's own Randy Brooks made the list thanks to his hard work and dedication to KIX 102.5 listeners. Since there are hundreds of country stations, this puts him into a very exclusive group. Here is more about Randy and how he was able to surpass all of the competition to make this list:

A business can only be successful if it has the right team members. These are loyal, hardworking people who are committed to doing their part to create great results. They also remain with the company long enough to truly master their jobs so that they are both effective and efficient.

Non-profit organizations are committed to serving and improving the local community, but marketing is often a major challenge. To help support their missions, the Zimmer Cares program gives $50,000 of free radio advertising to a select number of non-profit organizations each quarter that were selected by Four States listeners. This allows the organizations, which often struggle to get their message out, to benefit from the power of the radio group's reach and advertising skill. Such a boost can result in a significant increase in donations for the charity, and therefore, to the good that it can do in the community.

Since 2012, Randy Brooks and Kaylee Cole have been waking up KIX listeners with lively interviews, contests, phone calls, crazy songs, and other shenanigans. Zimmer is proud to announce that the entertaining duo beat out hundreds of other personalities in the state of Missouri to take home a 2018 MBA Award for best medium market radio air talent.
